this won't summon a Dragon unless the Dragons were already aware of you and want to reach out. Set up an altar to them, leave an offering, and ask for their presence in your ritual. That's how you summon a Dragon.

does this work?

If you want to try it, go for it, but from personal experience, this won't work. When I work with Dragons, I cast a Dragon circle and either use a Dragon statue or candle [or both] call for the Dragons to be present and anoint the statue and light the candle. They won't physically appear, but they would come to you in an astral/spirit form. You should feel their energy [if you can see spirits you should see an orb or Dragon, but it's not physically there] meditate, talk to them, leave offerings, cast a spell, or whatever you needed the Dragon for, then thank them for visiting, snuff out the candle, and open the circle.

This does not work.
