Ode To The Vampire Mother

"O dea tenebris
mater immortalibus
puer tuus fac me sicut renascentur
mea lux vestra absorbere

liceat mihi locus ad tenebras
sicut ex utero immortales
filios tuos in ulnis
quibus invocaverit te frater

O lunae lumen
puer tuus fac me sicut renascentur
me duce tenebris sunt
i ita erit renatus"

or (English)

"Oh goddess of the darkness
mother to the immortal
let me be reborn as your child
let your light absorb my own

Allow me passage to the darkness
as from your immortal womb
into the arms of your children
to whom I will call brother

Oh moonlight
let me be reborn as your child
guide the dark ones to me
so I shall be born again"

You cannot become a vampire.

I'm pretty sure that I am a energy vamp because every time I brush up against someone or someone experiences strong emotions, I feel the energy and it seems like a pressure is lifted off of my shoulders...I may not be the vampire you guys are think about but I am a vampire in a sense...so your statement isn't completely correct. Also, I'd like to point out that in almost all of the ancient mythologies, there are legends that point to humans converting and becoming vampires and if it wasn't possible at one time then why is there so many different cultures and mythologies have evidence that they did exist? So before you try to actually turn something down try it first, wait a lunar cycle or two and if it doesn't work for you, oh well. It could work for someone else. I just needed to offer my opinion.

What I, and many people, are referring to are the blood sucking Nosferatu type vampires of legend, not psi vampires. If you believe you are a psychic vampire, that is fine with me, however, what you describe sounds more akin to an empath. Mythology is not evidence. Mythology is stories. Why we have similar tales throughout the world is because A. we are all human, and humans have similar ideas, hopes and fears. B. most ancient cultures were connected through trade and travel, and tales would travel with people, changing slightly with each retelling. C. there were serial killers throughout history that were given extra features to make them more horrific which caused these tales to flourish. And D. there is a vitamin deficiency which has many ''vampiric'' symptoms. Those with porphyria would consume items with high iron content, and could cause people to embellish and create tales of vampires. I do agree with your point of trying and waiting a moon cycle before concluding it does not work, however, if you study Real Magic, you can narrow down the spells that work and save yourself the time. A spell calling on astral vampires for protection I would try because it is possible, but a spell to physically become one I would avoid because Magic on the physical does not defy nature. Physically transforming from a human to a vampire would go against natural law, ergo, this spell does not work.

Let me just ''set you straight'' right now! 1. Mythology is based off of real events and naturally occurring things. The Romans and Egyptians did not get along or trade with each other at all, yet, these to cultures have similar gods, goddesses, and entities. 2. When trying to school someone in the arts of Magick-with a ''k''- use proper spelling. 3. I have done research and I am no empath, I am a psychic vampire. 4. Not all mythology are stories, the Qarinah are Arabian and the Succubus is American/Indian. Also do research on the Legend of Oiwa which is a part of Japanese mythology. Her grave is real. She is a story but she is real. 5. I never mentioned any type of sicknesses and diseases at all so wherever that came from went into the trash can. As you can see I don't keep quiet and you will have to deal with it. P.S. don't forget research and proper spelling before coming at me. Thanks and Blessed Be!

You are mad at me because I choose to spell it ''Magic'' and not ''Magick''? That is rediculous. Not everyone spells it ''magick'' Scott Cunningham never spelled it magick and he has been held in the community as a key author. I choose to spell it Magic and not magick because in my teenage years I emulated Cunningham and after reading how he did not like it being spelled ''magick'' I chose to stop spelling it like that, and instead capitalize it Magic. Yes, it is a silly reason, but it is why I choose to spell it in accordance with the English dictionary. People also spell it ''majik'' are you going to disregard their points as well? As fro you being a psychic vampire, I said it sounds more like empathic abilities, but if you consider yourself a psychic vampire that is fine. I cannot prove or disprove what you identify as, nor do I care what you choose to identify as. I did not ''come at you,'' you responded to my post, I replied to yours. If you got offended, it is your interpretation of my reply. Now, as for your points: It does not matter if cultures ''got along'' or not, civilizations lived closely together, some areas were richer in certain resources, and trade occurred. Through trade, people talked, and tales were passed. The same with war and taking slaves. Tales were told. Romans ruled over Egypt, so obviously they would cherry pick things they liked. The Roman deities were merely the Greek deities with Roman names. It does not discredit the Gods, but it was built off Greek mythology. When Christianity grew, they began outlawing Pagan traditions. Those they could not snuff out, they co-opted and brought into the fold. Many saints are based on Pagan deities, many holidays align with Pagan ones. Look into flood mythologies around the world. There are many flood myths that coincide with actual floods in the area. Over time, the tales were embellished. Something historical could have happened, but it does not mean it was exactly as the legend claims. Why I brought up porphyria is because it can be used as a natural explanation to vampire tales around the world, similar to hypertricosis could explain werewolves. Humans embellish the real tale and boom, vampires. By your logic, I should throw out your succubus point because I never mentioned succubus. I am interested what you are talking about them being American/Indian. Are you referring to the America's as well as India, or are you talking about native Americans? The word succubus originated in fourteenth century Europe based off Hebrew mythology. There may be similar demons in other cultures, but the succubus is a specific demon from a specific culture. Bringing this all back to the point at hand, you are human. Vampires are astral beings. The only physical vampire is psychic vampires. You can dress like and act like a vampire, but you will forever be human. No spell will change that. This spell will not work.

I need to address this hon, I never spoke of the Greeks, don't put words in my mouth. I am not mad just simply offering my opinion, you are the mad one here because nobody stands up to you and I am. Also ''Magick'' is the proper spelling, please use it or don't type the word at all. And don't pretend to be dumb as you and I both know of the Indians that I speak of, from the actual country. I also know that what I described sounded nothing like what an empathetic person experiences as my cousin is an empath. Oh! Use proper spelling already. You spell ''Magick'' wrong first and now ''ridiculous''! Please use a dictionary, I thought that you were a fully grown man! Oh and surfing the spells to turn them down is ignorant as Hell and it's petty so I would appreciate it if you stopped. Thanks! Oh and you must not have realized yet that I am speaking of Succubi. The Succubus originated in America and parts of India you would do well to learn. Oh and ''the Middle East'' is completely out of context. Also another vampire that exists ''tantric vampire'' or ''Succubus/Incubus'' Blessed be. P.S. I never said that the spell would work guaranteed, use common sense,I said ''So before you try to actually turn something down try it first, wait a lunar cycle or two and if it doesn't work for you, oh well. It could work for someone else. I just needed to offer my opinion.'' Sorry for bursting your bubble. I am correct in a sense. Buhbye!

Also if I am a psychic vampire would I be a full human? I feed off of emotions, memories, and sensations. Do I really sound like I am fully human? I was also referencing the Succubus as an example, thanks for trying though.

Please calm yourself, you are coming off rather irate. I acknowledge you wish I was bothered by you, but I genuinely am not. Honestly, I find your attempts to upset me laughable. Furthermore, you are throwing out my arguments, yet again, because you cannot dispute them properly. You brought succubus up as an example, therefore it is a valid point in your eyes. I bring up Greek as an example, therefore it is nonsensical and pointless to you. It is not. This is how debate works. You make a statement, then proceed to back up your point with facts and examples. Additionally, where are you getting this notion that ''nobody stands up to you?'' People rebut my comments constantly. I get private messages debating my opinion as well as spell responses. You are not some heroic figure backing me into a corner, you are an anonymous stranger on a forum who tried to call me out and is irritated I am not cowering to you. As for your cries of ''stop commenting on spells'' I am not breaking any site rules. I am making emotionless statements in an attempt to steer new members away from nonsense spells. Should they reply to my comment, I will educate them on the reason why it does not. I will not stop helping people solely because you are irritated. You seem incredibly hung up on the spelling of Magic when it does not matter in the slightest how it is spelled. It has been spelled both ways throughout history and popularized by Crowley to be spelled with a K. It is not a universal law. When books are translated into other languages it is not spelled ''magick'' either, so calm down with your irrelevant observation. It does not matter in the slightest how one spells Magic. As for ''ridiculous'', a single typo is not a ''gotcha'' moment. Mistakes happen. If it was an egregious disarray of poor spelling and grammar, then I may see your annoyance. As for your succubus criticism, you are mistaken. They are European, and succubi is the plural form. In Hebrew lore, Lilith became the first demon, the mother of demons, and as the tale spread, they attributed the sexual demon to her. Eventually coining the term succubus which is derived from medieval Latin, and over time the majority of sex demons came to be known as a succubus if they were female. You are physically human. You could identify as anything spiritually, energetically or emotionally, but physically, you are nothing more than human. While I would love to continue our discussion, it is clearly upsetting you, so I bid you adieu. If you manage to calm down, and you wish to contact me, my PM is always open, but I see no further value in debating this with you.

Not to throw myself into your argument, but I was actually reading an article on Patheos the other day on the spelling of magick and I found it rather serendipitous this was being discussed here. https://www.patheos.com/blogs/matauryn/2017/08/03/magic-vs-magick-vs-majick/
