Some of the recipes I have come up with myself and thought I should share.
You will need the following items for this spell:

  • Mortar and pestle
  • Storage containers to keep the herbs
  • Labels for the containers
  • Measuring spoons

These are a few of the incense recipes I've made:

*Consecration Incense:*

  • 2 Parts Frankincense
  • 2 parts myrrh
  • 1 part copal
  • 1 part Vervain
  • 1 Part Hyssop
  • 1/2 part Pennyroyal
  • 1 part cedar
  • 1 part Mugwort
  • 1/2 part Chicory root
  • A pinch of salt

Burn as a incense and pass items through the smoke to cleanse and empower them. Any items work, such as crystals, magickal tools, jewerlly, etc


*Depression Mix*

  • 2 parts lavender
  • 1 1/2 parts St. John's Wort
  • 1 part Catnip
  • 1 part Vervain
  • 1 part Jasmine

Burn as a incense to rid yourself of depression, burn in a ritual to heal depression, use in a sachet and wear to fight depression. Also can be used in a ritual bath to cleanse self of depression. Has a very calming scent.

 *Peace Incense*

  • 1 part Frankincense
  • 1 part Myrrh
  • 1 part Rose
  • 1 Part Jasmine
  • 1 part Lavender
  • 1 part Hibiscus

Burn to bring positive, peaceful vibrations. can also be used in a sachet or sprinkled around a room to bring peace and relaxtion

*Banish Bad Habits*

  • 2 Parts Frankincense
  • 1 1/2 Parts Mullien
  • 1 part Hyssop
  • 1 part Blessed/Holy Thistle
  • 1 part Sandalwood
  • 1/2 part Chicory

Burn during banishing rituals and spells while visualizing to break bad habits. Also can be used in a sachet.

*Sleeping Moon Incense*

  • 2 Parts Vervain
  • 1 Part chamomile
  • 1 1/2 Parts Lavender
  • 1/2 part Rosemary
  • 1/2 part Mugwort
  • 1/2 part Spearmint

A sleeping aid. Burn before bed to bring restful sleep and good dreams.

*Divination Incense*

  • 2 Parts Wormwood
  • 1 1/2 parts Mugwort
  • 1 Part Angelica root
  • 1/2 part Lavender

Use during Divination, scrying, Tarot, or psychic magick. The wormwood and Mugwort are used for divination, psychic powers and calling spirits. The Angelica will provide protection while doing divination work. And the Lavender is to sweeten the smell and help you relax

*Positive Energy Mix*

  • 2 parts Rose
  • 2 parts Hyssop
  • 1 part Lavender
  • 1 part Rosemary
  • 1/2 part Damiana leaf

Burn to bring positive energy, sprinkle around room to remove negative energy and replace it with positive

*Meditation Incense 1*

  • 2 parts frankincense
  • 1 part copal
  • 1 part Dragon's blood
  • 2 parts Hyssop
  • 1 part Blessed/Holy Thistle
  • 1 Part Vervain
  • 1 part Chamomile
  • 1 part Mugwort

Burn while meditating.

*Meditation Incense 2*

  • 2 parts Frankincense
  • 1/2 part Myrrh
  • 1 part Sandalwood
  • 1 part Lavender
  • 1/2 part hyssop

Another Meditation mix, but shorter.

*Psychic Enhancement Incense*

  • 2 parts wormwood
  • 2 parts Mugwort
  • 1 part Frankincense
  • 1 part Calendula petals
  • 1/2 part peppermint

Burn to enhance psychic powers, also can be burned for divination.

*Love Mix*

  • 2 parts Rose
  • 1 Part Basil
  • 1 part chickweed
  • 1/2 part Damiana Leaf
  • 1 part Hibiscus
  • 1 Part Lavender
  • 1 part Rosemary
  • 1 part St. John's Wort
  • 1/2 part Sandalwood

Burn as a incense to attract/bring love toward you. Burn while visualizing to send love to another.

Any sleep/ meditation/ depression incense recipes that don't use lavender? I have a family member that's very allergic.
