Today I tried meditation when everyone was out of the house except me to minimize distractions. I lit a candle and focused on that, staring at it, contemplating the flame. It was working well, and I started to feel the rush of energy through my body. Then, the phone rang, and since no one else was in, I had to answer it. (Good job too, it was important) After that, I got back into it slightly but not as well, and then my dad got home, so it was a mad dash to hide everything. Damn my bad luck! Having said that though,it was the best meditation I've had for a while before I got interrupted. :S

Hey Buddies i found this on net!

Meditation basics Technique #1

1.Sit quietly in a comfortable position
2.Close your eyes
3.Relax your muscles
4.Breathe slowly and naturally
5.Maintain a passive attitude
6.Think of something you find beautiful.
7.Sit quietly for a moment at the end of your meditation
to allow your thoughts to return
--------------------------------------------------------

Brief Body Scanning Relaxation Technique #2

1. As you breathe in, scan your face, neck, shoulders,
and arms for tension.
2. As you breathe out, let your muscles relax, and allow
the tension to slide away.
3. As you breathe in, observe your chest and stomach for tension.
4. As you breathe out, allow your muscles to relax,
letting any tension slide away.
5. As you breathe in, search for tension in your legs,
hips, and feet.
6. As you breathe out, feel any remaining tension flow
from your body. Continue breathing deeply for one to five
minutes, enjoying the overall sense of relaxation.
----------------------------------------------------------

Color Countdown - Technique #3

1. Close your eyes and begin even breathing
in through your nose and out through your mouth.
2. Visualize the color RED. Let it fill your
mind. Hold this color for 3 breaths.
3. Visualize the color ORANGE and hold
it for 3 breaths.
4. GREEN next follows YELLOW.
Hold each color for 3 breaths.
5. Next comes BLUE followed by PURPLE.
Keep your breathing steady.
6. Beyond PURPLE is a WHITE light.
Let this light fill you up, replenishing your
energy.
7. After several replenishing breaths, return.
Reverse the colors keeping a steady 3 breaths.
WHITE to PURPLE to BLUE to GREEN to YELLOW to ORANGE
to RED.
8. Open your eyes, refreshed and ready to kick! :)

The best position to sit in, Dragon, is anyone that is comfortable and you won't fall asleep in. You can do it laying down, sitting cross legged against your bed or couch...which ever is completely comfy for you.

As far as the feelings you are getting...are these comming with a heaviness? Or just a quick feeling of being ill? Also, how long do they last?

There's a technique in our spell book under rituals called Negative energy release.

Next time this happens, work through the sickness and try it. Let me know how it goes.
