Why are people worried about that?
It's for solo-practitioners in the real world, they still have to get information from somewhere online and having a gathering place to exchange notes and whatnot without being ridiculed is a good thing. It's not just for solo-practitioners, that's just what most of the Coven is supposed to be made up of. I thought it was a pretty cool idea, although as I told the Priestess I too was surprised that they gathered so many members so quickly.
It is something I would consider surprising, but I feel it is somewhat pointless and unnecessary to worry about it. Worrying won't solve whatever problem you may think is there neither is it good for your health.

Yes... but mysteriousness attracts people.
Saying solo means being alone and mysterious. Everyone is going to be in that coven. I'm not against the coven idea though. Just the name.
I know, I'm strange.

Well, that makes more sense. Unfortunately I don't think we can change the names of already made Covens yet.
I am worried as well, One of those in the back of my mind things really... I think it is just a dumping spot for new members. They wants somewhere to go so why not there... like people joining spellcasters coven in order to post spells automaticly.

Good point bledri, but we already have teen witches, penta magic, and spellcasters for that exact reason... again with the useless covens. But as long as solo practioners are doing what they say, I still only have a problem with the name. And, yes, even thought I can't change it, it bothers me just a tad bit.
