MISTLETOE: Used for fertility, creativity, prevention of illness/misfortune, and protection from negative spells & magick. Hang in the home for protection from lightning & fire. Wear in an amulet to repel negativity & ill will and protect against unwanted advances. Carry for luck in hunting. Use to draw in customers, money and business. Use in ritual baths or prayer bowls for healing. Note: Poisonous, use with caution.

Also Called: Birdlime, Devil's Fuge, Golden Bough, Holy Wood, Misseltoe, Druid's Bough, Witch's Broom, Thunderbesom, Wood of the Cross.

I copied this straight from: Herbs M-N in the article section. Next time, look through that first.

I have many things I use Mistletoe for, mostly in my line of work, fertility, but as stated previously its used for protection, love, hunting, fertility, health and exorcism. All of which when being used are generally carried-meaning there is never any ingestion or direct contact to skin (wounds) since this plant is poisons.

For healing, it is carried for faster recovery. There are different methods of wearing as a necklace, or hanging over doorways or cribs. It has a long history with Druid usage and they regarded this plant highly. It was only harvested on Midsummer day or if the moon was six days old. The plant was also never allowed to touch the ground or it is believe its magic properties/uses would diminish.

Mistletoe tells us. "I surmount all obstacles." If you take that into consideration with your spellwork and get creative, it may be very useful in boosting your confidence, your motivation, your problem solving skills etc. It is all about how you put things together.

Yes, Nox. It is quite versatile. My notes say it can be used to boost the affects of any other herb. It is part of the 'mystic nine' herbs. You know, the ones from legend?
