A friend of mine wants to try out a lot of these spells. The thing is, she is 11! So, do spells work if they are casted by someone that young?

I would say they still have a lot to learn about spells before attempting to cast one. A big example is learning which spells are possible as most youngsters are naturally attracted to fluff.

If she has a solid foundation and knows what she is doing, sure.

Some people have a natural talent for these things. Although I wouldn't recommend it since she has little experience. Although I started practicing summoning at 10 y/o

if someone has mastered the basics of magick they can cast spells. there really isn't an age where you can learn the skills required to cast spells. most people/parents feel you reach maturity at a certain age. this is different for everyone, but a common age most choose is 13. if your friend understands spells, magick, and how they work, she can try casting a spell, nothings really stopping anyone outside of if they've practiced things like mediation, grounding, centering, energy work and visualization.

One thing I noticed back in my church days is when children are spiritually aware, something powerful happens. I'd say it would build an extremely powerful result and there are people out there that know how to take advantage of that.

Of course that if one at eleven years can tell the difference. An example is if you can understand that experience is very worthy and that practice is how you make your progress then I mean go ahead and apply the knowledge you acquired, say from experience and practice. Then I would give them the go ahead. 'Spells' are pretty straight forward.
