AP and Mirrors
By:
I've often wondered at what the mirror means, and how it is even possible for someone to look at themselves in one in the astral realm. Often people see themselves with slight differences, or rather themselves as they appear to themselves.. However I saw nothing, I stood in front of the mirror seeing nothing.. as if i was a vampire. Would anyone offer an opinion to this?

fist question from me would be was this in the astral realm?

side note..

when we are travelling through the realms it can be a way or finding hidden parts of are mind and spirit, so if you looking in a mirror which as a reflective object can act as a door or window into the astral realm. I also use them when i need to look deep inside my self to see what is unbalanced within me.

so depending what i was focusing on say just emotional unbalance. and i saw nothing, that doesn't necessarily mean nothing is wrong, it could be a sign of being lonely, feeling empty and unmotivated in live.

the fact you personally described it as a vampire to some not all, the vampire is a depresentive of rebirth and death. new begining but something ending. so this could be a number of things.

my advie to you is to meditate on each part of what you see and what it could mean corresponding with your life.

I agree with the previous answer. Mirrors have a mysterious symbolism. It could be a gateway somewhere. I've heard that when you project to the physical realm something can happen and see the space with slight differences. I don't understand how this happens but it has hapenned to me in the past as well, I was normally once next to the air-conditioner or very few meters away but I didn't see it. While I normally would.

I am assuming that you are referring to practices like guided meditations where you visualize yourself in soome sort of personal space and gazing into an imagined mirror. Or performing a similar action while astrally projected.

In this sort of activity the mirror is a symbolic tool to represent you observing yourself, or bringing to light certain aspects of yourself that you want to examine. This alsomusually means that the image you see is one that is created as a part of the visualization, or from tapping into your supconscious Self-perceived image.

There could be a couple reasons as to why an image might not surface. It could be a sign of hiding from one's self. Or it might be that you are trying to connect to some aspect of yourself that is proving elusive or challenging to understand. Or it might be a simple case of loss of focus or needing to take an active part in calling up the image.

Its hard to tell where you end up when you wake consciously from sleep, and find yourself with the urge to claw your way out of your body taking extra care you are moving only your inner self as to not wake up.

Where I end up is always different, I am untrained and rather lax in self discipline, so I tend to just pop into places. This time I came into a rather large house in a cozy suburb neighborhood. Walking down some stairs to exit the front door I saw they had a rather large mirror, so I stepped in-front of it curiously. I saw no trace of myself, just the room behind me... and I said to myself "Great I'm a f---ing vampire". Then I left the house, avoided two women and got caught by a third, but escaping is never a problem.

There was no meditation, no intent.. It just happens, I pop out, or in.. I suppose each experience is rather too short to tell.

Lol, some of the scariest dreams, and nightmares and APs I've experienced are with mirrors. Once I even saw a reflection of an alien in the mirror.
