Coffee readings

For the past few weeks images have been forming from the foam that comes from instant coffee. I'm happy the images are getting clearer and I think come in sets of 1 or 3 per cup. I've always wondered if divination like this would really work. Anyway, I asked about the next two weeks; the images were a stag, whale, and lips. The stag and whale I think relate to just feeling so off/sick and needing nature, and that I need to be patient because things will be okay.
The lips though? Communication? Or relating to my spouse? That one has me really confused.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Whether this form of divination is legitimate is up to you. It absolutely can be. I followed a blog for a while by someone who travels, and does divination according to the first piece of graffiti she passes every day, or the first loud car stereo.

What you need to pay attention to is synchronicity, which is significant coincidence.

I see you are already reading intuitively, which is good. A book of symbols may help, but something may not always mean the same things to different people.

Stags can represent many things, from nature itself to authority (in some culture, deer are the kings of the forest, for example, their antlers seen as majestic crowns). Whales can represent the ocean, something large or significant, overindulgence to some (some people associate 'whale' with 'obese;' again, showing the same image can have greatly different symbolic meaning to different people), even peace or song.

The true meaning is what resonates best with you. A symbol dictionary (such as for tea leaf reading or dream interpretation) may present definitions as concrete. They rarely are.
